What We Do

Three services that build on each other, delivered by one designer who has been doing this on Vancouver Island since 2010.

Most clients arrive asking for a logo. Some of them need one. Others need a whole identity system, because their brand has to hold up across a fleet and a shelf and a proposal. Some need a website more urgently than they need anything redrawn. Here is what each service actually covers.

Logo design

An original mark, drawn from scratch for your business. Multiple concept directions, real rounds of refinement, and a complete file package in every format and colour variant you will need. Full copyright transfers to you on final payment.

Brand identity

The full system: logo variants, a colour palette specified for print, screen and vinyl, typography, stationery, signage and packaging application, and a written guidelines document so everything stays consistent once other suppliers start using the files.

Website design

Custom sites designed and built by the same person, so nothing gets lost between the layout and the deployment. Fast, mobile first, built to be found in search, with analytics from day one and optional ongoing care.

Brand and website together

The combination that makes the most sense, and the one most businesses should be asking about. When the identity and the site are designed together, the mark gets drawn knowing exactly where it will live, and the site gets built by the person who drew it. It is also better value than commissioning the two separately.

Where we work

Pacific Logo is based in Parksville and works across Vancouver Island, British Columbia and North America. The process runs equally well in person over a coffee or remotely over video, and geography has never limited a project.

Industries

Fifteen years of work across construction and trades, marine and industrial, engineering, real estate, agriculture and food, health and counselling, technology, heritage and community organisations. Every industry has its own visual language and its own physical constraints.

Questions before you start

Cost, timelines, how many concepts you see, what files you receive and who owns the artwork are all answered on the common questions page.

Not sure which one you need?

Describe the business and the problem. We will tell you honestly what it calls for, even when that is less than you asked about.
