Logo Design

An original mark, built to work everywhere your business shows up, and to still look right in ten years.

A logo is the smallest, hardest-working piece of design a business ever commissions. It goes on the truck, the invoice, the storefront, the hard hat, the app icon and the sponsor banner. It gets embroidered, engraved, etched, printed at four colours and cut from one colour of vinyl. Most of the time nobody is looking directly at it. It still has to do its job.

Pacific Logo has been designing marks like that on Vancouver Island since 2010. Every logo is drawn from scratch for the business it belongs to. No templates, no marketplace files, no stock icons rearranged into something new.

What you get

  • Original concepts. Multiple distinct creative directions, each taking a genuinely different approach to your business, rather than three versions of the same idea.
  • Real refinement. Once you pick a direction it goes through rounds of revision based on your feedback. You are involved at every stage.
  • The complete file package. Vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG) for print and signage, high-resolution PNG and JPG for digital, and web-optimised versions.
  • Every colour variant you will need. Full colour, single colour, reversed white and solid black, so the mark works on any surface.
  • Full ownership. On final payment, copyright and usage rights transfer to you outright. No licensing fees, no restrictions, no ongoing terms.

How it works

1. Discovery

Before anything gets drawn, we talk about your business: what you do, who you are competing against, where the logo will actually appear, and what you want people to think when they see it. This conversation is the part that separates a logo that fits from one that is merely attractive.

2. Concept development

Several original directions, presented properly and explained. You will understand why each one exists and what it is doing, so you can give useful feedback rather than guessing.

3. Refinement and mockups

The chosen direction gets polished, then shown in the real world: on a vehicle, a sign, a business card, a shopfront. Seeing a mark in context is the fastest way to know it is right.

4. Delivery

Final files in every format, organised and labelled, with guidance on how to use them. If you need brand guidelines, signage specs or stationery, that is where a full brand identity picks up.

Does a logo need to be simple?

It needs to be legible, which is not the same thing. A mark can carry real meaning and still read instantly. The Magnum Project Management M encodes Mount Arrowsmith and the project management triple constraint of time, cost and scope, and none of that is required to understand it. It reads as structural and professional at a glance. The story is a bonus for anyone who learns it.

Where simplicity does matter is at the extremes. If a mark relies on fine detail or small text to make sense, it fails on a hard hat decal and on a favicon. That is a technical constraint rather than an aesthetic preference.
