Logo Design in Qualicum Beach

Ten minutes down the highway, fifteen years in the business, and a portfolio you have probably already driven past.

Pacific Logo works out of Parksville, which makes Qualicum Beach a ten minute drive and effectively the same market. The studio has been designing logos and brand identities in this area since 2010, and the work here is not a list of city names on a page. It is signage you can go and look at.

Work in the Qualicum and Parksville area

Schug Realty Group

A realtor identity built to hold its own alongside the Royal LePage parent brand on lawn signs, vehicles and storefronts across both Qualicum Beach and Parksville. Co-branding is a discipline problem: the mark has to be recognisable without competing with the brand sitting next to it.

Coombs Fair

The heritage shield for a fair running since 1913, designed to serve the annual summer event and the year-round fairgrounds from one system. Coombs sits between Qualicum and Parksville and the fair belongs to the whole area.

Parksville Museum

A heritage identity built from a skyline of the community's historic buildings. Local history work, done by someone who lives in the community it documents.

What Qualicum businesses tend to need

Qualicum Beach has a particular character and the branding that works here reflects it: a walkable village core, an older and design-literate population, a strong arts and food culture, and a lot of small independent businesses competing with larger operations in Nanaimo.

  • Independent retail and food. The brand is doing a lot of the work before anyone walks in. Signage, window graphics and packaging matter more than they would in a mall.
  • Professional and health services. Credibility first. A considered identity closes the perceived gap against bigger firms down the highway.
  • Trades serving Oceanside. Truck branding, embroidery and a mark that holds up in one colour. Covered in detail on the construction and trades page.
  • Arts, galleries and makers. An identity that carries craft without looking precious, which is a harder brief than it sounds. Timbúr is a good example of that balance.

Also serving

Parksville, Coombs, Errington, Bowser, Nanoose Bay, Whiskey Creek and the wider Oceanside area, plus Nanaimo and the rest of Vancouver Island.
